Heartbreaker

I had a rational fear of love after my first attempt failed miserably. & being so active on tumblr, you get to read a lot of crap about how first loves are so unforgettable & it will never be the same because now you’ll exercise caution & not fall blindly it’s not the same blah blah fucking blah.

I do admit, I agreed upon this perspective.

Growing up & loving (like, legit falling in love & not getting into another relationship to steal happiness from some guy) again, you realise you fall deeper, faster, harder. All those doubts you had initially with the addition of the fears from the previous relationships makes falling in love again a far scarier procedure. But trust me, to throw all that bullshit out of the window & feel at peace in a complete stranger’s arms again can be the most fulfilling thing.

You realise you are now more capable of loving someone else, & you love so much more because you loved yourself first enough to love again.

Love, love, love. I need to cut down on disney princess movies.
